ABOUT BEDFORD THE PHOTOGRAPHER

I grew up in unique and challenging conditions as an unaccompanied homeless youth. When I got into my mid-twenties and a majority of the challenges of early life were behind me, I started looking for a “palette cleanser”. My idea was to buy a camera as a way to motivate myself to get out of my comfort zone and see the world. I figured that if I spent all that money on a nice camera I would have to go and use it and that would be my “palette cleanser”. Otherwise, that money spent would be wasted. That strategy worked well for me. Through that year of travel, I discovered in myself a deep passion for photography and the art of capturing a moment. Looking for unique and interesting ways to see the world through that camera. The power of a moment saved for a lifetime. Now I am dedicating myself to the pursuit of capturing the moment that we all live in.
